在2023年的新春佳节之际，大鸭村的竹荪种植基地迎来了丰收的喜讯。8月28日，龙岗镇的大鸭村，一片红托竹荪争相绽放，仿佛天空中的小伞，在阳光下轻轻摇曳，其长势喜人、生机勃勃，让人一目了然。

为了促进产业发展，大鸭村在5月上旬通过本村股份经济合作社组织 villagers to plant a total of 2.6 million stalks of red-tube bamboo shoots. Through proper technology and management, these bamboo shoots began to be harvested in mid-July, with an average daily yield of over 100 kilograms of fresh shoots, which can last until October. This has created employment opportunities for over ten villagers who work in the base every day.

After harvesting, the fresh bamboo shoots are directly transported from Big Duck Village to Guilin City, Kaying County and Zaza Market for sale. In the future, Big Duck Village's cooperative economic society will continue to play a leading role by organizing personnel to go out and observe learning about bamboo shoot planting techniques and market conditions. They will explore models such as "village cooperative + company + farmer" and "village cooperative + farmer" to develop high-yielding red-tube bamboo shoots that can bring benefits quickly and help village residents develop specialty crops and expand their income channels.
