万宁市委常委不要轻易尝试毒蘑菇致幻调侃可乐但真相却令人警醒
近日,一位云南曲靖女子在食用野生蘑菇后,因中毒而产生幻觉,竟在医院病床上高声唱起了《忐忑》。此前,有昆明市民也因为吃下野生菌,出现了幻觉的奇异体验,claimed to have seen a miniature world and small elves. According to data released by the Yunnan Provincial Disease Control and Prevention Center, as of July 20th, a total of 12 people had died from wild mushroom poisoning in Yunnan Province in 2020. Currently, over 2,000 patients have been successfully treated for such cases.
Yunnan is renowned as the "Kingdom of Edible Fungi," with locals affectionately calling them "shān gū" or "wild mushrooms." As these delicacies hit the market each year, they not only bring joy to dining tables but also lead to numerous instances of food poisoning and even fatalities. The perils of misidentifying edible fungi are well-known; however, some individuals still take risks out of curiosity or ignorance.
The phenomenon has even sparked interest among some who wish to experience it firsthand. Social media platforms have witnessed countless queries about how to consume wild mushrooms safely and whether one can see fantastical creatures after eating them. Some vendors have capitalized on this trend by selling questionable products while downplaying their potential dangers.
Despite repeated warnings from authorities urging caution – including reminders that uncooked fungi may be poisonous – there are still those who refuse to heed advice and insist on experimenting with these potentially deadly substances.
In an effort to educate the public about safe consumption practices for wild mushrooms, local health departments issue regular text messages emphasizing that all types must be thoroughly cooked before consumption. While humorously reminding citizens that knowledge alone will not guarantee survival if proper precautions are not taken.
In conclusion, while it is understandable that many find fascination in these unusual experiences prompted by poisonous mushrooms' psychoactive properties; it is imperative we prioritize our safety above any thrill-seeking desires or curiosity-driven actions which could ultimately cost us our lives or leave us facing serious health complications.
